Here is our projected itinerary. Note: This itinerary is ever-evolving and may not reflect the most recent changes. (Last updated May 13th, 2004)

 

Thursday, May 27th

- Leave LAX at 21:30 (9:30pm)

 

Friday, May 28th

- Arrive at Heathrow at 15:50 (3:50pm)
- Spend the day seeing a few things around London, mostly taking tours and pictures.
- Since we'll be arriving so late, we'll probably take a double-decker bus for a day ride and a night ride through the city.

 

Saturday, May 29th

- Wake up early to go to south London
- Stonehenge
- Jane Austen's House
- Visit HP Film locations on outskirts of London, i.e. Privet Drive, Magnolia Crescent, Bracknell Forest (Hagrid's house).
- Camp out for bracelets for premiere of Prisoner of Azkaban if possible.

 

Sunday, May 30th

- Wake up extremely early if unable to get bracelets the night before and stand in line in hopes of getting some.
- Hang out at premiere, possibly meet up with people from Diagon Alley.
- Head to York immediately after premiere.
- Sight see in York until dusk.
- Head to pub for a pint and meet up with group for Ghost Tour.
- Spend the night in York.

 

Monday, May 31th

- York in the morning for a short time
- Travel north to Durham Cathedral, Alnwick Castle
- Take train from Pickering to Goathland Station
- Head to Edinburgh, Scotland.

 

Tuesday, June 1st

- Spend day in Edinburgh and surrounding area (earlier in the day)
- Visit a few HP locations
- Head back to England
- Glouchestire Cathedral
- Head to Oxford

 

Wednesday, June 2nd

- Most of the day in Oxford
- Visit some HP filming sites
- Visit the Eagle and Child Pub (once frequented by J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis)

 

Thursday, June 3nd

- Visit locations used for Leaky Cauldron exterior (original and PoA)
- More HP filming sites

 

Friday, June 4th

- HP Fan Trip begins
- Treasure hunt in London of HP film locations
- Afternoon viewing of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

 

Saturday, June 5th

- Spend the day at the Royal Naval College in London
- Activites will be Quidditch, Wizard Tournament, Guided discussions of HP books, work shops on writing and art, cinema showing HP movies continually.
- Hogwarts style Dinner in the Painted Hall

 

Sunday, June 6th

- London tourist sites all day

 

Monday, June 7th

- Leave for home at 4:15pm
